After competing at the top, I turned my passion into a profession, earning qualifications in Strength & Conditioning so I could back up lived experience with proven science and help those coming up to better prepare themselves. Yes, when done properly. Research consistently supports that youth strength training is not only safe but beneficial for bone density, injury prevention, and long-term athletic development. My programmes are technique-first, progressing only when fundamentals are solid.
Absolutely. You don't need to be competing in anything to benefit from this. Many young people simply want to get fitter, build confidence, or develop healthy habits early. I work with complete beginners and build from the ground up.

Very little to start with. Many of the foundational programmes are bodyweight-based and can be done at home with minimal kit. If specific equipment is recommended as they progress, I'll let you know in advance and suggest affordable options.
